The Vibe: Orange, white, natural, orange peel, yellow apple, passion fruit
Friends Would Say: A creative millennial type, she’s witty, contemporary and alive! Yes this wine is part of that new wave of wine drinkers obsessed with natural flavours and modern approaches. In the glass you will find a dark straw colour, on the nose a delicate melange of vegetal, quince with a lovely spicy clove hint. This bottle has powerful tannins and can feel weighty in the mouth due to the skin contact. On the fruit side you will get orange peel and bruised apples with a hint of passion fruit. A fresh modern drinking wine.
The First Date: First time dating an orange wine? It’s all good, with this wine you can go slowly, a mellow entry level orange that isn't so funky that you can’t get a word in edge ways!
The Banter: Clean like a white wine and complex as a red wine. This bottle of orange wine is made by leaving the grape skins and seeds in contact with the pressed juice, creating the colour, hence “orange”. This wine by the way has never been near an orange, its called this because of the colour of the grape juice. The wine ferments naturally without any added yeasts or sulphur. The blends are balanced eloquently and then bottled unfiltered and unfined. Nothing added and nothing taken away.
