It has a complex layer of Cocoa, ganache, coffee and slight hint of tobacco on the nose and finishes very smooth with a pronounced fresh acidity. The fruit is bright red fruits knocked back by the savoury cocoa and robust profile. This wine feels special in the mouth and perfect for a gift to someone you really want to please. 

The First Date: This bottle is all about pure enjoyment and romance factors. Leave that big project at the door and kick back with a big glass of this, candles on, records on, the works! You might even take this one for a warm bath, smooth and mellow. 

The Banter: The enclosed exposition of the Rafalot parcel allows for the grapes to preserve their freshness and mature slowly, hand harvested, whole clusters are crushed gently by foot Natural fermentation in cement tank for 4 to 5 weeks, Punchdowns and pumpovers during fermentation, Wine aged in demi-muids and 12 year old barrels for 18 months, and then 6 months in stainless steel, Unfined and unfiltered, No SO2 during vilification, Rafalot” is the name of the valley where the vines are planted
