Dominio de Punctum
The Vibe: Medium body, rustic, biodynamic, black fruit, smooth.
Friends Would Say: If you're after a smooth operator you've come to the right place. This wine is as smooth as smooth gets! With very low acidity and bountiful amount of blackcurrant, cassis and plummy fruits, this bottle will be so drinkable on cooler nights you’ll be forgetting about the cold outside. It’s round and opulent enough to be drinking without foods. It’ll leave a lasting impression on the palette with musky, blackcurrant jam, ending with bear hugs abound.
The Banter: Dominio de Punctum has been making biodynamic (picked by moonlight) and organic wine since they began in 2005. The winery is located adjacent to the vineyards allowing to keep the maximum quality in the production of the whites, reds, young and aged wines. This blend of Tempranillo and Petit Verdot is a beautiful ruby red in colour. The nose is pronounced with aromas of blackberries and hints of violets. The palate is full and smooth with notes of blackberries, red-currants and a touch of sweet spice. Well integrated tannins add structure to the wine finishes long and fruity. Round and yummy enough to be drunk on its own or ideal with roasted meats especially game such as pheasants.
The First Date: Okay first things first, get their name right! practice (Tem-prah-nee-yoh))
